Rickard joins Biofuel Express with over two decades of executive leadership experience across multiple industries, most notably as former CEO of the Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies. His background in behavioural science and extensive work with business development, stakeholder relations, and lobbying—both in Sweden and at the EU level—position him as a strategic asset in our mission to drive sustainable transport solutions forward.

As Strategic Key Account Manager, Rickard will oversee and develop key customer relationships, ensuring that our solutions are not only aligned with each customer’s goals, but also accelerate their transition toward fossil-free transport. His role is central to delivering value, clarity, and collaboration—hallmarks of Biofuel Express’s approach to customer partnerships.

Beyond his professional experience, Rickard is known for his inclusive and communicative style, and a genuine enthusiasm for building trust-based relationships. He thrives in collaborative environments and values clear direction and meaningful progress.
When he’s not working, Rickard enjoys spending time with his family—his wife Cristina is a high school teacher in economics and entrepreneurship, his son Hugo is graduating this summer, and his stepson Philip works as an industrial engineer. He is also an avid tennis player, hiker, and fly fisherman, and enjoys relaxing at the family’s getaway in southern Spain.
