Biofuel Express participated at Bus2Bus in Berlin – bringing alternatives to electrification into focus.

Earlier this month, we participated for the first time as an exhibitor at Bus2Bus in Berlin – one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for the bus industry.

And it quickly became clear that we stood out.

We were the only fuel supplier at the event. While the majority of the focus was naturally on electrification, we brought an alternative into the conversation: how existing diesel buses can significantly reduce CO₂ emissions – already today.

Interest was strong. We had many valuable conversations with operators, manufacturers, and decision-makers, all working with the same challenge: how to reduce emissions quickly and efficiently – without necessarily having to wait for full electrification.

Because while electrification will play an important role in the future of transport, it is clear that the transition will take time. Infrastructure, investments, and operational considerations still play a major role – and this is where drop-in solutions like HVO100 provide a real opportunity to achieve immediate, measurable CO₂ reductions.

At our stand, we experienced strong interest in both our products and our approach. Not only as a fuel supplier, but as a strategic partner helping companies navigate requirements around documentation, compliance, and reporting.

“It is clear that the industry is looking for solutions that can be implemented here and now. Electrification is part of the answer – but not the whole answer. That is exactly where we can make a difference.”

Overall, it was a strong first experience at Bus2Bus – and certainly not the last time we participate.

We return home with new relationships, valuable insights, and a clear confirmation: the transition to fossil-free transport will be driven by multiple solutions.
